This illustration is dedicated to the one hundred year anniversary of the original publication of the John Carter short stories. This poster shows the famed Civil War hero John Carter and the Martian princess Dejah Thoris. John Carter is also a major motion picture produced by Walt Disney Studios released in the spring of 2012.
