Super Siblings Web Comic Strip for the week of July 11th, 2011 by Patrick Scullin. Today’s comic was inspired by my son. We have an aquarium in our dining room and this is exactly what he said the other day when we were eating fish sticks. I’m glad he said it because I was having a little writer’s block this week.
Super Siblings Web Comic Strip for the week of July 4th, 2011 by Patrick Scullin. In honor of the 4th of July I present a patriotic poster for the Captain. Captain is the predecessor to our young hero the Scout. He’s also his unknowing grandfather. It seems that super powers run in the family but skip a generation.
With this comic I also wanted to pay tribute to Captain America and the many wonderful posters of the World War II era. Interestingly enough I recently visited the Brigham Young University Art museum and saw a show dedicated to American illustration from the 1940s. One of my favorites turned out to be by Norman Rockwell seen here.
