For some reason this made me think of the Monty Python Parrot Sketch. The mice aren’t dead, their just sleeping. *Shakes Box* See, they moved.
I felt that way with gold fish when I was a teenager. We’d just get them home and one or two would already be dead, so back to the pet store we’d go.
It also makes me think of Dumb & Dumber were Lloyd sells the blind kid his dead parrot. “Pretty bird, pretty bird. Wanna cracker?”
Next week we’ll find out why the car keeps shorting out, and that the little bits of paper and carpet around the car aren’t because the carpets are shedding.
