   BUSTED!!!

   My mom was a huge candy sneaker growing up. We’d dump out our pay dirt at the end of a good Trick-or-Treat haul and by morning a good 1/4 of our surplus would be missing…she’d deny eating that much, “Had to test it to make sure there wasn’t anything in it.” she’d say. That’s when I realized the whole “Razorblades in gum”, “LSD on candied dots”, etc. were all tricks by our parents so they’d have a reason to eat most of our candy guilt free.

   Both my sons have nut allergies so when we go thru their candy we pick out all the candy with nuts or manufactured in a facility that processes candy with nuts, so we end up with this pretty good sized stock pile, so we end up sticking it usually in the cupboard in the laundry room and sneak eat it while we do laundry. Usually we’ll get busted by one of them and then they beg and plead to have a piece of their candy since we’re eating some, so we have to find sneakier ways to snack it down.
