Yup. That’s the way repairs and renos seem to go in my house!
That’s exactly how my dad used to fix the car.
My brothers and me always had a saying for frustrating jobs such as working on our cars and/or other equipment, “It’s a 12 Pounder job” meaning to get the 12 lb sledge hammer.
I love the expressions on his face in today’s strip, his son just stands idly by at the ready waiting to pass the next tool of the trade on to him. I remember as a kid standing in the background just waiting for my dad to request the next tool and every time I heard him swear or fuss at whatever he was working on my brothers and I would fight off a snicker.
Just like my dad
So true! Me too!!
