Super Siblings Web Comic Strip for the week of May 10th, 2010 by Patrick Scullin. This year’s winter has lasted too long. It never fails that just as we’re getting excited to go outside the weather changes and it gets cold, rainy and snowy.
That’s right mom, you stand strong to that no going inside. How else is Courtney gonna learn. Besides, the rain will help loosen up the soil, make planting just a tad bit easier.
We have just the opposite issue here in Texas. Once Winter leaves, and we get ready to start venturing out it becomes plain HOT. You can’t even enjoy the day after 10am. Of course the boys don’t mind it, but you sure can’t stay out there too long. My poor garden just fights for what ever water I can give it, and forbid we should hold out for rain. So ya’ll feel free to wave your hands in a southernly direction and send some of that down to us.
You guys are great. Up here in the mountains of California the weather teases us. It’s starts getting warm and nice and we all rush to plant our gardens only to get hit with a snow storm in May. This weekend we got 6 inches.
Hey thanks Tim! I’m glad you noticed that. It’s something I decided to do a while back because I thought it would make the comic look different than others. I’m hooked on it.
Maybe when the rain builds into a flood and an ark sails by she’ll let him go inside…
The rain just makes the soil easier to dig.

Your use of black is fearless. I salute you, good sir. (Sorry, “art geek” comment)

I’m an inside kinda guy myself. Outdoors is just for getting to your vehicle.
