One important aspect of convention presentation is the impression you create of your brand. So many artist just have an ad-hoc set-up and expect people to spend lots of time listening to them talk about their work. This rarely happens as convention mind share is short and scarce. I wrote this article to help other comic artists understand branding and visual impressions. http://www.bugpudding.com/bristolboard/2010/03/convention-and-show-display-design/ Hope you find it useful.
