I always enjoy the chats when I stumble upon one, but I’m still sticking to my story that the screen for iPhone/iPad isn’t pressure-sensitive, to the extent we need it.

I have no problem admitting when I’m wrong (being married with two kids does that to a guy), but even the cited Autodesk Sketch uses something called “Synthetic Pressure sensitivity”.

I think I may look into “Layers” as a result of the chat.

No, to the Brushes question. I don’t own any apple products. My husband Mal has a new Macbook Pro though. I’d love an iPad if it were a decent sketchbook and had a reasonable battery life.

I don’t understand why no-one has made us a nice 6×8″ SketchBook Pro. I’m pretty sure we (the art/cartoon folks) were all hoping the iPad would be one. Maybe Wacom will do it.

I’ve used a Pogo! It’s a lot easier to just use your finger :/. The thing has to be flat on the screen for it to work. Have you tried Brushes app? I cant wait to try it out on the iPad.

I’m enjoying your Wednesday #webcomicschat . Followed a link here for the Pogo that ended up at Thinkgeek, and bought one for my daughter. She was trying to text someone while visiting and wished she had a stylus. Voila!
